for IJPians and Homo sapiens
In Frankfurt I met Dr. Jochen Möbert, Economist, Deutsche Bank. He also pointed out actualities of economic crisis and effects on the banking sector. How Eastern European banks are struggling, the realities of credit crunch, and ways of salvations all he explained in a naive power point presentations. I must remember richness of simplicity richness of simplicity and tremendous knowledge.
As in Allianz Mr. Tobias Meckert stunned me with his detailed knowledge about Asian affairs. The cordial welcome in the huge office of Allianz, the sweet memory of meeting Mr. Nicolai Tewes, Gregor Eder and Mr. Meckert are prestigious wealth to preserve. Another excellent man we met in our trip. He is from Siemens, Mr. Joren Roggenbuck, Head of Compliance Communication. He talked about how the compliance packages Siemens took after the corruption charges and the disastrous revelation. Already I discussed about one German virtue, Honesty. Now he proved that I am not wrong. The strategy honesty is the best policy, he said. Known proverb, but Roggenbuck explained how tough it was to implement and he mentioned how it is nice and simple. To stay honest in any business, may be tough in the beginning but hazard-less at the days end. Now this is the message from Siemens to the world. I liked their policy. I liked, because I found here the great Gandhian connotation imbedded.
